Make Yourself At Home

I'm setting up a future scenario: in the not-too-distant future, when the logistics system is sophisticated enough that people don't need to carry any luggage with them, they can simply send their luggage at home and receive it at their destination. At that time, the interaction between the suitcase and the person will only happen in the home environment. Therefore, we want to design the suitcase as a product that can be integrated with the home environment.

What will the suitcase look like in the future?

How the suitcase can leave our hands free?

The focus of my design was to integrate the form and function of the suitcase into the home environment and to ensure that it had the basic functionality of a suitcase. Therefore, I integrated the carry handle into the overall shape and hid the gimbaled wheels. I used beautiful lines and chamfers as well as soothing colors for comfort.

AT HOME

At home, it is always with us. It can be a cabinet for storing daily necessities, a coffee table for drinking tea and resting, or a bookcase for placing your favorite books. It is a malleable and movable piece of furniture that can meet your various needs.

A gray sweater hangs on the left side of the desk, and there are a few books on the shelf beneath. The office has white walls and a wooden floor, with a modern silver desk lamp overhead.

GET READY

If you're planning a trip, the expanded space makes it easier to pack your bags. Once you have selected the clothes you need, simply place them on the platform underneath your suitcase. Take an organizer bag and place it on the top platform, sit down and fold it slowly. Arrange the organizer bags one after the other and place them in the cabinet on the left. Finally, close both compartments and slide the lock slider forward and the suitcase is locked.

SOMEWHERE IN THE WORLD

When you arrive the hotel, just push the luggage to unlock it, it could become the familiar look at home. We are adapted to be obsessed with those unique things that can make people happy. When you are in an unfamiliar environment, it can bring you the feeling of home. Don’t take out your luggage everywhere, put them in the extended space of the Box. The storage bag makes the luggage tidy and orderly. When you set off again, the luggage can be quickly stored into the box.
